🧵 A productive day for Hear Me Roar!

Last week we brought together a group of volunteers for another Hear Me Roar! Project working bee.

There was plenty happening — cutting, sewing, stuffing, sorting and getting our latest creations ready to head out into the community.

From baby quilts and sensory toys to cushions and port pillows, every piece takes time, teamwork and a lot of hands behind the scenes.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and got involved. ❤️

We couldn’t keep Hear Me Roar! moving without our amazing volunteers. Thank you.

* Beginner and Advanced Obedience
* Agility demonstrations
* Line Dancing with the Wild Brumby Line Dancers
* Multiple demonstrations from the Para District Obedience Dog Club

💛 Happy Father’s Day from the Lions Club of Salisbury!

To all the dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures across our Salisbury community—thank you for your love, guidance and the countless ways you show you care.

Today we celebrate the hands that help, the shoulders we lean on and the laughter that brings families together. A special thank you to the dads who give their time to serve others and make our community a kinder place. 🤝

We’re also sending warmth to those missing their dad, separated from loved ones or finding today difficult. You are in our thoughts.

Whether your day involves a barbecue, a family catch-up or a little peace and quiet, we hope you feel appreciated. 💛

🇳🇵 We stand with Nepal.

We stand in solidarity with the people of Nepal and extend our love and support to members of the Nepalese community here at home.

Our Lions Club will be making a donation to support the humanitarian response, with Lions already on the ground helping communities in need. 🦁

No donation can undo what has happened or replace what has been lost—but it can help provide comfort, practical assistance and hope for what comes next.

Congratulations to our fellow Lions, Sanjam and Div, founders of Chefadora, on being featured in the Sunday Mail! 🎉👏
