I encourage you to set some goals. If you’re pursuing music as a career (whatever gender) consider what your motivations are. What goals and supports do you need in place to look after yourself and have balance.
Having lived experience of Burn Out, I promise you it’s not a one person biz. It’s full time and can be all consuming- if you allow it.

Posted • Invest in your dreams but invest in yourself first 💫 Confronting the toxic realities behind hustle culture in the music industry is long overdue. From unpaid/underpaid work to intense cycles of burnout, it’s time we evaluate how we can do better as an industry.

I’m warmed to be acknowledged in my past contributions to the music community and that people still feel so connected and supported by and what we were able to achieve in those 5 years 🌱
I’m feeling super inspired by everyone involved. Very grateful to still have something to offer and contribute to the music community (when here I was thinking I was retired).
What’s next? Let’s collaborate on something ⭕️🔥‼️📢

This Thursday - Live Kingsway Bar for Slamduggery She's Got a Story to Tell #2 💕

Very happy to share that we are donating part ticket sales + whatever you can spare on the night - to Launcestons Womens Shelter.

It is devestating that we need this service in our communities - infact we need multiple - but this is it - and it is the least we can do, to raise anything we can to help keep this 24hour crisis service supporting those in greatest need.
