🇳🇵 Hello, directly from the mountains of Nepal! 🏔️😂

Thiago and Mel might be a little too far away to connect to Lisa’s class right now, but they’re managing a real-life project — a group trekking expedition through Nepal that they planned and organised themselves, putting their Project Management skills into practice! ❤️

We couldn’t be prouder of you both! Your courage, determination and adventurous spirit are truly inspiring, and having students like you is what makes our Mindroom community so special.

It means so much to us to be part of your journey and to see you embracing experiences that go far beyond the classroom.

And a special thank you to Lisa for being such an important part of their journey, always encouraging and supporting our students to follow their dreams. ❤️

Keep exploring, growing and inspiring those around you, Thiago and Mel. We’re cheering you on every step of the way! ✨

At Mindroom, we believe creativity goes beyond technical skills. It’s about finding your voice, embracing your experiences and bringing your own perspective into everything you create.
That was one of the key messages behind Origin: Where Motion Meets Emotion, a special talk with Petrus Pommé, Founder & Creative Director of PEDRA Studio. Petrus Pommé PEDRA Studio™

From his roots in São Paulo to building a creative career in Australia, Petrus shared how identity, personal experiences and the courage to embrace our differences can shape the way we create.

Organised by our Graphic Design course and trainer Rebecca, the session gave students a closer look at the world of motion graphics, storytelling and creative direction, while reminding us of something powerful:

✨ Come as you are. Your difference is your strength.
Because great design isn’t just about what you create. It’s about what you bring to it.
A big thank you to Petrus, Rebecca and everyone who joined us for such an inspiring session! ❤️

Everyone has access to AI tools. Knowing which one to use for which job is the real skill. ⚔️

In this workshop, Will shares the sword analogy: the right tool amplifies your skills, the wrong one slows you down. That’s the difference between using AI and actually applying it to real business problems. 🎯

That’s what you build in our 11358NAT Certificate IV in Artificial Intelligence for Business. Practical AI for real workplaces, no coding required. 🤖

Wondering if it’s the right fit for you? Message us and let’s talk about your study options. 💬

Our Mindroom community is sending love and strength to our wonderful alumna Ju, who recently underwent surgery here on the Gold Coast following a breast cancer diagnosis and is now focusing on her recovery.

Ju is a talented illustrator and designer whose creativity, warmth and kindness have touched so many people around her. Now, we’d love to surround her with that same support as she focuses on healing.

There are a few ways you can support Ju:

💻 What a great evening connecting our IT community!

Our IT Careers in Australia: Recruitment, Pathways & Networking event brought together students, graduates and industry professionals for an evening of practical insights, real experiences and meaningful conversations about building a career in Australia’s tech industry.

A big thank you to our guest speakers and partners — Dean Ellis from Rec4Tech Top Tech Talent, Carllo Castriota from Bloom Migration, and Alannah Grech from ACS — for sharing their knowledge and perspectives with our students.

We also loved hearing from our guest panellists Ananya Kulshrestha, Nethumi Pereraand and Lays Rodrigues, who shared their experiences as international students and graduates building their careers in Australia. 🙌

And, of course, thank you to everyone who joined us, asked questions, made new connections and helped make the evening such a valuable one.

This is what we love to see at Mindroom: students connecting with industry, learning from real experiences and expanding their professional networks. ❤️
