A huge congratulations to CentreStage Agency talent Imogen on her role in Once.

We are so proud to see Imogen continuing to grow, take on new opportunities, and represent the incredible talent coming out of our region. Her commitment, warmth and stage presence continue to shine, and this role is another exciting step forward in her performing journey.

We also want to celebrate our wonderful CentreStage educator Rose, who is also part of the cast. Rose brings such care, confidence and experience to her work with our students, and it is always special to see our educators leading by example in the professional theatre community.

Congratulations Imogen and Rose. We are cheering you both on and cannot wait to see you bring this beautiful production to life.

What an amazing community we have rallying around this fundraiser.

What an amazing community we have rallying around this fundraiser.

This one means a great deal to our CentreStage family. We are incredibly proud to share that CentreStage has donated in excess of $30,000 to Cancer Council Victoria, following our recent fundraising efforts.

Cancer has touched so many families in our community, including our own. The Greenwood family has proudly supported Relay for Life since 2013, and over that time our extended Relay for Life chain has helped raise more than $1 million for Cancer Council Victoria.

This donation also carries deep personal meaning. When CentreStage began in 2010 with $100 in the bank, big dreams and a lot of personal favours, we could never have imagined what it would become. Today, with hundreds of students, dedicated staff, passionate families and around 600 active volunteers, our community continues to prove that theatre can do more than entertain. It can bring people together, raise awareness, support families and create real impact.

Thank you to every person who donated, attended, volunteered, performed, supported, shared or simply showed up. This result belongs to all of you. The show goes on, and so does the work.

Is AI blocking your next audition?

Our newest episode of Onstage: Casting Call tackles one of the industry’s growing taboo topics: how digital casting platforms, searchable profiles, resume filters and AI-assisted tools may affect whether performers are seen, shortlisted or overlooked.

This is not about fear. It is about preparation.

David Greenwood OAM unpacks why your performing arts resume is no longer just admin, why unclear credits and vague skills can quietly work against you, and why performers need materials that are current, honest, searchable and easy to understand.

The episode also includes a short anonymous perspective from a casting director on why clarity matters when reviewing high-volume submissions.

CentreStage Agency has also created a free resume feedback tool to help performers review and improve their industry materials:

The curtain is up on our new home online. We're proud to introduce the new CentreStage Agency website, built from the ground up to better showcase our talent, our recent bookings and the breadth of work happening across stage and screen.

We've also worked hard to deliver an A+++ accessibility rating, because everyone deserves the same front-row experience, no matter how they're accessing the web.
