Yesterday, we had the opportunity to participate in the Power of Connection Expo at Craigieburn Library, proudly representing Ethical Hire.
The event brought together local organisations, community members, and service providers with one shared purpose: making support services, employment pathways, and community resources more accessible for everyone.
What stood out most was the important role the library plays as a genuine bridge between people and organisations. Events like this, organised by Hume City Council, create opportunities to listen, understand real community needs, and build trusted local connections.
At Ethical Hire, we focus on connecting people with meaningful employment opportunities across healthcare, disability support, aged care, administration, and workforce support. Being part of the expo gave us the opportunity to speak directly with community members, answer questions, and share how ethical recruitment can support both candidates and organisations.
A sincere thank you to Craigieburn Library, VICSEG New Futures, Holstep Health, and all participating organisations for creating such a practical and community-focused initiative.
Events like this remind us that employment, wellbeing, and inclusion are deeply connected. When local organisations collaborate, communities become stronger, better informed, and better supported.
