What a nice feeling to feel heard and supported, even for a few minutes.
It’s all about raising awareness, allowing a safe space to share, to be vulnerable and open.

Part of the Dattner Group and Kacha team gathered today to raise awareness about this critical topic, . It was a quick and friendly catch-up, but it was worth it, sitting together, listening, checking in and being there with one another.
We hope you guys are doing the same.

Remember, not everything is work; it’s about having a good balance, checking in with loved ones and having healthy relationships with yourself and others.

"Vulnerability is a strength; it takes courage, but it is how we all connect and break down barriers."

We are delighted to share this amazing campaign we created in conjunction with Dattner Group called “What I’d Like For You To Know”, where we interviewed different women of various backgrounds and discussed their different of when it comes to transitioning to a new role and/or stepping up as a leader.

Both Kacha & DG believe in the power of Diversity because when the voices of all genders are heard equally, organisations and society operate more inclusively and care for the wellbeing of people and the planet.

How to know if you can trust a recruiter

Inundated with recruiter messages recently? In this video, Tasman Broekman-Dattner, and Liz Jones share their dos and don’ts when making a new connection with a recruiter. They teach you how to see through the “fluff” but also warn not to be so quick to dismiss them all, says our director Tasman.

Look at that new offer with eyes of curiosity, but be aware, that the more impersonalised the wording the less effective the connection will be.

Authentic leadership can turn any environment around. Nobody should dread going to work, but it's up to leaders to set the example of how being empathetic, authentic and self-aware can lead to healthier workplace relationships.

Leaders who practise communication skills, listening and transparency are more likely to increase productivity and nurture a happier team. Become the kind of manager that people want to turn to when there is a problem, but also want to grab a coffee with for a chat.

Trying to fit in at work is overrated. Have you ever caught yourself trying to fit in with your co-workers? It might seem like the logical thing to do, especially when you start a new job but ironically this can lead to feeling more disconnected.

Studies have shown that being yourself can lead to higher levels of engagement at work and lower levels of depression caused by being unsatisfied. The bigger picture is that pretending to be someone you are not can negatively impact your mental health. Think about your personality with your friends and family, evaluate your core beliefs and the essential things that make you who you are and try to carry them over into work.

Despite the pressure to conform, showing your true self is the path to more satisfying work.

If you have spent years building up your work persona, it might take some practice and unlearning to become your authentic self. Pick a few colleagues you want to try to connect with on a deeper level and ask them to grab a coffee.

You would be surprised at how an informal coffee can be an icebreaker. Find out what they enjoy, what interests them and what you might have in common. Once you let down your barriers, you will find that work becomes a place that enriches you both personally and professionally.
