đ High performance is a system, not just an individual.
As the NFL arrives in Melbourne this week, weâll see some of the worldâs best athletes compete at the highest level.
But none of them perform alone.
Behind every player is a system, coaches, development, preparation, feedback, recovery, clear expectations and an environment designed to help them perform.
Yet when athletes transition into the workplace, we often remove that system.
We recruit them for their resilience, discipline and high-performance mindset, then expect them to simply adapt to a completely new environment.
Placement alone isnât enough.
If we want athletes to bring their best into the workplace, we need to create the conditions that allow them to succeed, strong onboarding, clear expectations, the right leadership and continued development.
Thatâs a big part of what weâre building at TransitionR.
Not just placing athletes in jobs, but connecting high-performance people with environments where they can keep performing.
