About the Company
Our client is a specialist hire company providing welders, weld automation products and generators to clients. They are the Australian market leader for welding technology rentals and a national provider of power generation products including diesel generators, load banks, electrical distribution and ancillary services and products. They are currently seeking an Experienced Industrial/Workshop Electrician to join their growing team at the Wacol workshop.

About the Role
As an Electrician you will be required to work Monday to Thursday (6:30am - 4pm) and Friday (6:30am-1:30pm) with the occasional Saturday. Your primary responsibilities will be to refurbish, repair, inspect and maintain welding and generating equipment including ancillary items.

Duties
·Inspect, test, refurbish, maintain and repair welders and generators.
·Provide spare part lists for ordering and maintain correct stock levels by advising of parts and consumables used.
·Supervise, mentor and train electrical apprentices and new trades
·Perform return from hire inspections.
·Complete servicing and repair records and maintain inspection logs.
·Occasionally book freight and perform delivery and pickups.
·Repair equipment on site where necessary.
·Contribute to the development of servicing and repair procedures.
·Ensure hire equipment is tested and compliant prior to dispatch.
·Assist in the development of quotes by providing repair time estimates and part requirements.

Requirements
·Qualified Electrician with proven Industrial (relevant) experience

·Be a team player, committed to work in a team-based environment
·Strong oral and written skills.

·High Risk Forklift Licence

Our client specialises in the construction and maintenance within the resources and infrastructure sector Australia wide. They are currently seeking skilled labourers to join their team for a roof restoration project in Nerang. Successful candidates must have must hold a current working at heights ticket, Confined Space and EWP ticket.

About the Role
As a Skilled Labourer you will be assisting with concrete repair works inside reservoir tanks and roofing repairs. You will be required to use grinders, small jackhammers, mixing of mortars, heavy lifting and assisting trades. Candidates will be required to work 9-10-hour days Monday to Friday.

About our client
Our client is involved heavily in the construction industry, working on projects within the residential, commercial, industrial and education industries. They currently have a project in Mutdapilly (QLD) and are looking to bolster their crews with labourers. The positions are all ongoing, offering daily overtime as well as the potential to transition into a Permanent/Full-Time role.

What you will be doing
As a Skilled Labourer/Loader Operator you will be required to commence each day at 6:00am working 8/9 hour days Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday. You will be involved in the construction of a new medical facility, with a focus on the assembly of steel sheds and posi track operations.

Core duties include;
·Operating the telehandler to move materials into place
·Assisting with putting together structural steel and doing the ground work
·Using hand and power tools
·Working alongside other workers and tradespeople
·Operating the posi track where required

Requirements
·RII Loader
·Posi track experience
·Construction White Card
·Previous experience in construction (min 6 months)
·Physically fit as work will be labour intensive

What You Will Be Doing

•Picking parts and packing orders.
•Loading trucks using a forklift.
•Building pallets and crates using a nail gun (training will be provided).
•Fitting tags to valves using hand drills and a small strapping machine.
•Strapping valves/components to pallets and crates.
•Maintaining the dispatch area to ensure a smooth operation.

What You Will Need

•High reach forklift experience and a valid forklift ticket.
•At least 2 years of experience in a warehousing environment.
•Personal protective equipment: yellow polo shirt, boots, and pants.
•Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (PEM) and drug and alcohol screening (DAS)
