The Young Naturalists Club Bundageree Creek Walk is a 6km loop track (with half the loop being the beach) in Bongil Bongil National Park. Our walk begins at the Tuckers Rock Beach carpark at Repton (map will be provided via email) and passes through a series of ancient dune-swales which correspond with previous eras of sea level rise. The track then travels through salt-stunted low canopy of tuckeroo and banksia before arriving in the second largest extent of littoral (by-the-sea) rainforest in the state. Here we will find plenty of strangler figs to climb and explore before emerging onto the beach at Bundagen Headland. Our walk back is along the beach to spy dolphins and other beachy curios.

A focus of the morning walk will be asking what this coastal environment will look like in the decades and centuries ahead as the ocean rises relentlessly.
