Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager ā Generator Sales is responsible for developing and expanding the companyās generator sales business in Qatar by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role focuses on diesel generators, power solutions, and related equipment for industrial, commercial, construction, oil & gas, and government sectors.
The position requires strong market knowledge, technical sales capability, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation up to project closing, delivery coordination, and after-sales support.
Responsibilities:
Develop and expand generator sales business within the assigned market.
Identify new business opportunities, clients, projects, and strategic partnerships.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and revenue goals.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, quotation, negotiation, up to project closing.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and key accounts.
Lead, supervise, and support the sales team and operational staff to ensure efficient workflow and performance.
Oversee day-to-day sales and operational activities related to projects, deliveries, and customer requirements.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, warehouse, technical, and operations teams regarding project ex*****on and delivery schedules.
Monitor project progress, operational timelines, and ensure smooth coordination between departments.
Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities and industry trends.
Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
Follow up on payments, customer concerns, after-sales support, and operational issues.
Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with company procedures and policies.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, operational updates, and market analysis for management.
Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, exhibitions, and business networking activities.
