Responsibilities:

Examine and diagnose, troubleshoot, and find mechanical problems on diesel engines of heavy equipment and other components. Find and purchase components as required.
Find out the scope of repairs needed, such as identifying major powertrain overhaul needs. Prepare the necessary orders for services.
Correct use of diagnostic equipment.
Repair and/or replace every component of the hydraulic systems for diesel engines, air conditioning systems, suspension systems, drivetrains, electrical systems, including steering, braking, material handling, and operator comfort systems.
Conduct welding and brazing, make and modify parts and equipment, as well as miscellaneous structures and attachments.
Work orders must be completed in a timely manner. (including the warranty details) along with time sheets, in a clear, time-bound, and accurate timeframe.
Use vehicles and equipment with the necessary certificates and licenses.
Complete all work in accordance with established safety standards and quality standards. procedures.
Keep records of inspections for service vehicles, daily inspections, and logs of drivers as mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
It is essential to keep the equipment and truck tidy and give the best possible impression to the general public.
Cameras are used when it is necessary.
Be a part of the mandatory safety training and perform work in a secure way.

Find out the scope of repairs needed, such as identifying major maintenance needs for the engine and transmission, and make orders for needed services.
Tune up engines; identify the computer's controls and modules, and air conditioning components with diagnostic equipment.
Perform brazing and welding, fabricate and modify components and equipment, as well as miscellaneous structures and attachments.
Make sure that all documents are completed (work orders or parts orders, inspections, warranties, support comments, time sheets, and work orders) in a clear, time-bound, accurate timeframe.
All work must be done in accordance with the established time standards, safety, and quality processes.
Take part in the required safety programs and perform your work in a safe way.
