Established in 2012, Baan International Steel Trading is a U.A.E based local and international steel trading company engaged in trading steel and steel related products. BIST is promoted by a Senior Professional from the Steel Industry having a clear and distinct vision to succeed. Though the company is marking up a new venture, the promoters and key personnel bring in a blend of experience and ex

pertise in the targeted domain. The steel trading operations of BIST has two business modules. The first module of trading is back to back deals for Raw Materials and Semi Finished Steel Products (Iron Ore, Steel Billets, Blooms, Slabs, Wire Rods, Flat Rolled Products and Long Products. And the second module of activity is with Stock & Sales Operations with a warehouse in Dubai (catering to Middle East market), Juba (South Sudan) and Republic of Djibouti for Finished Long and Flat Products in Steel. BIST is proposing to start activities in South Sudan and The Republic of Djibouti with its headquarters in Dubai. As part of a long term strategy, BIST will look to start full-fledge operations in Ethiopia Eritheria and Congo. Eventually BIST wishes to expand its operations all over Africa and emerge as the market leader in Middle East & Africa. BIST will look beyond the bottom line to positively impact the regions it is associated with, and will first and foremost seek to maximize customer satisfaction.
