Your LinkedIn profile could be the reason recruiters are overlooking you, even if you are a highly qualified candidate.

Here are 3 things you need to get right:

1. Your Headline and About Section: Clearly summarise who you are, your experience, your skills, and what you bring to the table. Write in the first person and take time to present yourself professionally.

2. Your Profile Picture: Invest in a good, professional headshot. Your profile picture creates the first impression, so make sure it represents you well.

3. Your LinkedIn Network: Start expanding your professional connections. Engage with people in your industry, connect with recruiters, and build meaningful relationships.

Remember, your LinkedIn profile is more than just an online CV. It is your professional brand.

If you are serious about finding a job, take some time to update your LinkedIn profile. Do not let simple mistakes stop recruiters from noticing your potential.

Sometimes, you have to celebrate yourself. ❤️

Celebrate how far you have come, the battles you have overcome, and the person you are becoming. Do not always wait for someone else to recognise your worth. Be proud of yourself, even for the little things. You deserve to celebrate your own journey. ✨

Sometimes, the problem is not you. It is the location you are in.

You may have the skills, experience, talent, and even a successful business, but the salary may not reflect your value, or your business may not be generating the income you deserve.

My advice? Consider changing your geographical location.

Sometimes, you do not need to work harder. You need to position yourself in the right market, where your skills are valued, your business can grow, and your opportunities are greater.

You might not be in the wrong career. You might simply be in the wrong location.

Think about it. A change of location could be the change you need to move closer to your goals.

Sometimes, your gut feeling tells you that something is not right. It could be a person, a place, an environment, or a situation.

My advice? Do not ignore that feeling.

Take a step back. Re-evaluate the situation. Look at it from a different perspective. Sometimes, that little pause allows you to see things you did not notice before.

If you are still unsure, speak to someone you trust. A fresh pair of eyes can help you see what you might have missed.

We live in a world where deception exists everywhere, including on social media. Not everyone is genuine, and not every situation is what it appears to be.

Being self-aware can help you recognise warning signs before you find yourself in trouble.

Trust your instincts. Pay attention to how you feel. And never be afraid to walk away from something that does not feel right.

Your peace of mind is worth protecting. ❤️

Hello everyone! ❤️

A small request when submitting your CVs: please include a clear heading and a short paragraph explaining your purpose. Some CVs I received had no heading or introduction, which makes it difficult to understand the role you’re applying for.

To make things easier for everyone, I’ve created a Google Form to help organise your submissions. 📝 Please check the first comment for the link!

Remember, I’m here to support and guide you. My goal is to help you present yourself professionally and improve your opportunities. Let’s work together to make your CV stand out! 🤝💼

8 Ways to Identify a Job-Scamming Company in Dubai 🇦🇪

- 1. They ask for money upfront. Never pay for a job offer, visa processing, recruitment, consultation, or an experience certificate without verifying its legitimacy. Be especially cautious if they demand AED 2,000 or any other fee in exchange for a certificate or promised job.

- 2. They guarantee you a job immediately. Scammers may promise a confirmed job without a proper interview or assessment.

- 3. They have no valid trade licence. Verify whether the company is legally registered with the relevant UAE licensing authority.

- 4. They use fake job offers. Watch out for offer letters with suspicious email addresses, spelling mistakes, fake company logos, or unverifiable contact details.

- 5. They communicate only through WhatsApp. Be cautious if they refuse to provide an official company email, office address, or landline number.

- 6. They offer unrealistic salaries. A very high salary for little experience, with no proper interview, can be a warning sign.

- 7. They pressure you to pay quickly. Phrases like “Pay today or lose your job” are common pressure tactics. Take your time to verify everything.

- 8. They refuse to provide written details. Be careful if they avoid giving you a proper job description, employment contract, salary breakdown, or verifiable company information.

- Important UAE rule: Employers are responsible for recruitment and employment costs under UAE labour law. You can verify job offers through the official MOHRE channels.

If you suspect a scam: Do not pay, keep screenshots and receipts, and report suspicious recruitment practices to MOHRE at 600 590 000.

🚨 Beware of job scams! No genuine employer should ask you to pay AED 2,000 for an experience certificate.

💸 Never pay anyone to get a job or employment documents. Protect yourself and stay informed!
